Summary

A heartwarming holiday romance with small town charm and Christmas cheer, perfect for reading by the fireside as you curl up under a cozy blanket。

Sarah Langston used to run Sweet Thing Bakery with her parents and her sister, but ever since her parents moved to Arizona and her sister married an Olympic skier, she’s been managing the shop on her own。 Although baking has always been her passion, she can’t help feeling a bit lonely and adrift as the holidays approach。 She’s made sacrifices to keeping the shop running, but has her devotion to her bakery kept her from finding love all these years?

Returning to Snowy Pine Ridge after several years away, William Parks is surprised to run into Sarah。 He remembers her as an awkward teenager, the younger sister of his high school sweetheart, Michelle, and is floored by the beautiful, vivacious woman she’s become。

The holidays are usually the best time for Sarah’s business, as the locals all flock to the cozy shop in search of sweet treats and warm hot cocoa—but the Christmas cheer is dimmed when financial troubles threaten the future of her bakery。 With William’s help, she works to save her beloved business, even as sparks fly between the two of them。

With a sprinkling of hope and the magic of mistletoe, can Sarah and William rescue Sweet Thing Bakery… and find their way to each other’s hearts?

DNF after a couple chapters of inane and disconnected details。 So many good Christmas novels available to waste time on one when I really don’t care what happens with the main characters。

Sweet Christmas WishSarah was working the Sweet Things bakery by herself。 She had an afternoon girl who。 came into help。 An old high school friend came to Snowy Pine Ridge foe a vacation。 He loved skiing。 His name was Will and he had a thing for Michelle in high school。 He had hoped to see her on this trip to town。 Lots of excitement and love in this story, just enjoy。

Fiona Baker's Sweet Christmas Wish is primarily a blossoming love story between two hard-working dreamers。 Sarah owns the aptly named Sweet Thing Bakery。 She is an excellent baker, but not a very good financial organizer,。 When her sister's former boyfriend Will comes to town on a skiing vacation, her uses his skills to help her with the bakery's finances。 Sometimes I felt like I was watching an "I Love Lucy" skit with Sarah's attempts to make Will like her more。 Despite many mishaps, you can't Fiona Baker's Sweet Christmas Wish is primarily a blossoming love story between two hard-working dreamers。 Sarah owns the aptly named Sweet Thing Bakery。 She is an excellent baker, but not a very good financial organizer,。 When her sister's former boyfriend Will comes to town on a skiing vacation, her uses his skills to help her with the bakery's finances。 Sometimes I felt like I was watching an "I Love Lucy" skit with Sarah's attempts to make Will like her more。 Despite many mishaps, you can't help but love this couple。 Lacy and Derek from the previous book make great strides in their relationship。 This series is absolutely a winner ! 。。。more

I absolutely loved reading the Sweet Christmas Wish, book 2 of the Snowy Pine Ridge series by Fiona Baker。 First it takes place in a small town in NH, in the winter。 Nothing beats New England at Christmas time。 The characters are well thought out, and, Sarah and Will remind me so much of my husband and myself that it is crazy。 Fiona does a good job at filling in what happened in the first book, and moves the stories forward at a great pace。 No need to read the first in the series, but as always, I absolutely loved reading the Sweet Christmas Wish, book 2 of the Snowy Pine Ridge series by Fiona Baker。 First it takes place in a small town in NH, in the winter。 Nothing beats New England at Christmas time。 The characters are well thought out, and, Sarah and Will remind me so much of my husband and myself that it is crazy。 Fiona does a good job at filling in what happened in the first book, and moves the stories forward at a great pace。 No need to read the first in the series, but as always, it is better if you do to get the full impact of her storytelling。 I couldn’t put it down and read it straight through。 If you are looking for a book with the “Christmas Feelies” , this book is for you。 Can’t wait for the third and hoping that she writes more of this series in the future。 。。。more
